VIA Science Earns IL5 Continuous Authority to Operate for eJARVIS
VIA Science has been awarded an Impact Level 5 (IL5) continuous Authority to Operate (cATO) by the U.S. Air Force for its eJARVIS application, announced in a press release. eJARVIS is a U.S. Air Force configured version of VIA's commercial SLAM (Share Less, Ask More) AI platform.
eJARVIS received IL4 authorization in May 2024 and has since been used to deliver secure data workflows supported by large language models. The new IL5 designation allows the platform to process more sensitive categories of Controlled Unclassified Information that require stricter protection.
The system provides natural language data visualization, code generation, and agentic automation for mission operations. VIA's Web3 blockchain technology, which also holds IL5 cATO, supports traceable data management and decision reviews. According to the company, eJARVIS enables both technical and non-technical personnel to analyze large datasets securely while maintaining compliance with U.S. Air Force data protection standards.
