Axon Vision Introduces ForceField AI Counter-Drone System for Mobile Defense
Axon Vision has launched ForceField, an Edge AI counter-drone protection system combining detection, threat analysis, and kinetic response into one compact platform, announced in a press release.
ForceField is designed to protect ground forces and vehicles from FPV drones and other aerial threats that are not susceptible to electronic warfare. It integrates passive detection with AI-supported threat assessment and human-supervised engagement control. The system is capable of threat neutralization through kinetic means, completing the operational cycle of detect, understand, and respond.
The company completed live-fire demonstrations in operational scenarios showing the system's ability to identify, track, and engage drone targets. ForceField can be mounted on existing platforms without embedding into their core systems and operates independently, without emitting signals or requiring constant communications.
The system uses standard weapons and ammunition and features a modular design. Axon Vision plans to offer either the full ForceField system or its detection and AI module for integration with existing weapon systems. The company is carrying out evaluations with customers and partners in Israel and abroad, including collaborations with Leonardo DRS focused on the U.S. market.
