MajorKey Technologies has been chosen by a U.S. Department of Defense agency to deliver NomadID, a disconnected identity and access management solution, to support secure operations in communication-degraded environments.

MajorKey Technologies has been selected by a U.S. Department of Defense agency to deploy NomadID, its Disconnected, Denied, Intermittent, and Limited-bandwidth (DDIL) identity and access management solution, announced in a press release.

NomadID is designed to maintain secure authentication and access control across environments with unreliable or unavailable connectivity. The solution enables identity services to function from fully connected networks to completely disconnected tactical operations.

Developed by Oxford Computer Group, a MajorKey company, NomadID is a containerized system that extends enterprise authentication capabilities to field operations. It integrates with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Stack Edge, and other identity platforms to provide consistent access even without internet or enterprise network connections.

The system includes an identity orchestration layer powered by Strata Identity, which switches between connected verification through Microsoft Entra ID and local credential validation when offline. This ensures continuous authentication and access for mission-critical operations in degraded communication environments.
