Riverside Research and Plexus Partner on Secure Modular Defense Devices
Riverside Research has entered a strategic partnership with Plexus Corp. to accelerate the development of reusable modular hardware and software for intelligence and defense applications, announced in a press release.
The collaboration focuses on creating adaptable and secure connected devices through a rapid prototyping approach. The companies aim to reduce production timelines while improving device security in response to evolving threats.
Their first joint project, the Aegis R52L Enhanced Retransmission Device, was designed to secure end user devices. Riverside Research and Plexus progressed from concept to prototype and manufacturing plans in under nine months.
According to the announcement, the partnership establishes a framework for faster delivery of advanced secure technologies to defense and intelligence customers.
