Edera and Minimus Form Partnership for Container Security in Critical Infrastructure

May 19, 2026
Edera and Minimus have announced a partnership to deliver a combined container security solution for enterprises operating critical infrastructure. The collaboration integrates Edera's hardened runtime with Minimus's hardened container images to contain vulnerabilities and reduce attack surfaces.

Edera and Minimus announced in a press release a partnership to provide an integrated container security solution for organizations managing critical infrastructure. The collaboration combines Minimus's hardened container images with Edera's runtime isolation to reduce attack surfaces and contain potential exploits.

The joint solution allows enterprises to deploy Minimus images as the base for container workloads while Edera enforces runtime isolation at the hypervisor layer. This layered approach is designed to prevent lateral movement, privilege escalation, and cascading failures if a vulnerability is exploited.

According to the companies, the integration addresses the growing risks posed by AI systems capable of discovering zero day vulnerabilities at scale. The solution is validated for regulated sectors such as financial services, federal government, and critical infrastructure. Both firms are presenting the joint offering at the Open Source Security Summit in Minneapolis this week.
