Akeyless Appoints Yael Fainaro as Chief Strategy Officer to Expand AI Identity Security Ecosystem
Akeyless has appointed Yael Fainaro as Chief Strategy Officer, announced in a press release. Fainaro will lead strategic partnerships and ecosystem expansion as the company focuses on securing machine and AI identities across enterprise systems.
Fainaro previously held leadership roles in corporate development at CyberArk and Cisco Systems, Inc., where she managed global partnerships and business growth. Most recently, she served as Executive Vice President of Security and General Manager for Israel at Synamedia.
Akeyless said the appointment comes as organizations face a sharp increase in non-human identities operating across cloud and software environments. The company supports hundreds of billions of identity transactions annually and serves enterprise clients including Fortune 500 firms.
The Akeyless platform integrates identity security for humans, machines, and AI agents under a unified control plane. It includes technologies such as Distributed Fragments Cryptography, Agentic Runtime Authority, and Agentic Identity Intelligence. The company currently offers more than 130 integrations with cloud providers, security tools, and enterprise platforms, enabling secure identity federation across diverse systems.
Fainaro will oversee partnership initiatives with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and AI ecosystem leaders to extend Akeyless’s global reach and support secure access for AI agents and workloads.
