Ares Intelligence raised €2.9 million from Creandum, Lakestar and angel investors connected to Google DeepMind, according to EU Startups. The London based company will use the funding to expand its operations and serve more businesses.

Ares Intelligence provides an AI interviewer that conducts confidential voice conversations with employees in more than 70 languages. The platform analyzes their responses and produces a prioritized plan showing where AI could save time and money.

Customers can mask names, redact voices and remove role information before reports reach management. The platform supports deployment on customer cloud infrastructure or Ares Intelligence infrastructure in the European Union or United States, with retention periods controlled by each customer.

Matt Falconer and Alfie Ranstead founded the company in 2026. Ares Intelligence says it has signed enterprise customers in Europe and the United States in about seven months; one of them, Mercedes-Benz spin-out Tremonia, found more than 400 hours of avoidable manual work per month within four weeks, according to the company.
