Estée Lauder Expands AI and Data Work With Microsoft
The Estée Lauder Companies has announced a new strategic partnership with Microsoft to build out its cloud and data foundation and expand the use of AI across the company. The work centers on Estée Lauder's Unified Data Platform, which connects data across its brands, regions, channels and functions.
Estée Lauder says it has expanded Microsoft Copilot across its global office based workforce, reaching more than 14,000 employees, who are now experimenting with productivity agents. The company is also embedding AI in workflows so teams in marketing, commercial, value chain and research and innovation can make faster decisions, and is investing in a unified consumer data platform for more personalized experiences.
"Our expanded collaboration will help turn insights into action at scale," said Deb Cupp, Microsoft's chief revenue officer. Microsoft says the data platform draws on 80 years of consumer insights. The company's products, including Clinique, M·A·C and La Mer, are sold in about 150 countries and territories.
