Pixel Systems Raises €2.7 Million for AI Content Detection

Oct 31, 2026
Stockholm startup Pixel Systems raised €2.7 million in seed funding to expand sales and develop technology that detects AI generated and manipulated digital material.

Pixel Systems raised €2.7 million in seed funding to expand its commercial operations and detection technology, according to EU-Startups. Unconventional Ventures led the round at a pre money valuation of about €18 million.

Founded in Stockholm in 2026, Pixel Systems combines several forensic analysis methods to identify AI generated and manipulated images, documents, receipts and other digital material. Its customers include companies in insurance, financial technology, ecommerce and professional services.

Pixel Systems says its platform achieved a 99.98 percent detection rate in internal tests; the figure has not been independently verified. The company reached €89,000 in contracted recurring revenue within three weeks of its commercial launch.

"Generative AI has made it extremely cheap to fabricate evidence," said cofounder and CEO Robel Efrem. "The problem is that almost every digital process still rests on the assumption that what people submit is authentic."
