Anyword
Anyword, operated by Keywee doing business as Anyword, combines copy generation with predicted performance feedback. Its editor, Blog Wizard and marketing templates serve teams writing ads, website messages and articles. Brand voice settings guide the copy, while the scores give marketers another input when choosing between versions.
Starter costs $49 a month on monthly billing and includes one seat, one brand voice, unlimited copy generation and 50 performance predictions. Data-Driven costs $99 a month and includes three seats and 100 predictions. Business has custom pricing and adds connections to past campaigns, allowing teams to benchmark generated copy against their published material.
Copy.ai
Fullcast owns Copy.ai, now sold as Fullcast Copy.ai. It serves marketing and sales teams that want repeatable content production connected to their commercial systems. The platform's Brand Voice and Infobase use existing copy, editorial guidelines and uploaded documents to guide new drafts.
Teams can chain actions into workflows and organize access through Teamspaces. Fullcast lists Salesforce and HubSpot integrations, alongside Notion and Google Workspace. Its product page includes Lenovo and Juniper testimonials and directs prospective buyers to book a demo. This is a fit for teams planning connected sales and marketing processes, with writing as one part of the purchase.
DeepL Write
DeepL Write offers word and sentence alternatives, grammar correction and adjustments to writing style and tone. It suits writers revising existing text for a particular audience. Paid plans including Write Pro support custom style rules for formatting and spelling conventions, with language support varying between predefined rules and rules written as prompts.
Describely
Copysmith operates Describely, a product content workspace for retailers, distributors and ecommerce agencies. It writes descriptions in bulk and applies brand rules, with catalog connections including Shopify, WooCommerce, Akeneo and CSV import. Its customer material includes Target Australia's description workflow.
Pay as you go costs $0.75 per product for up to 500 products, with unlimited generations for each product. Data enrichment is priced at $0.55 per credit, while image processing costs $0.05 per credit. Catalogs above 500 SKUs have custom volume pricing, with seats and features arranged around catalog size and requirements. The separate enrichment charge matters when supplier records need work before copy can be generated.
Frase
Copysmith owns Frase, which combines article writing with search research, publishing and monitoring. Its agent researches and drafts pages from a topic, prepares briefs and writes in a brand voice. Writers can see separate scores for conventional search and content intended to be cited by AI engines while editing the page.
Starter costs $49 month to month, or $39 a month billed annually. It includes one seat, one site, ten articles and 50 audit pages each month. Professional costs $129 monthly, or $103 a month billed annually, and includes three seats, five sites and 40 articles. It also adds a content calendar, internal linking suggestions and tools for turning a piece into posts for other channels.
Publishing destinations include WordPress, Webflow, Wix and Sanity, as well as FraseCMS. The agent waits for approval by default before publishing or changing a live page; users can allow more autonomous work later. Frase also drafts updates when pages lose ground, and offers a seven day free trial without a credit card.
Grammarly
Superhuman operates Grammarly, which remains its writing assistance product following the company name change. Grammarly combines grammar corrections and tone feedback with text generation and sentence rewriting. It is a practical option for people who want to revise everyday work, including messages and documents, through its desktop and browser tools.
Free includes 100 AI prompts monthly, spelling and grammar assistance, and tone visibility. Pro adds full sentence rewriting, tone adjustment and 2,000 AI prompts per member each month. The prompt allowance is a useful distinction for someone who expects to generate or substantially revise text regularly, while correction and suggestion features have their own place in the plan comparison.
Larger organizations can buy Enterprise through Superhuman Go, with custom roles, data loss prevention and dedicated support. Users who switch the browser extension to the Superhuman Go experience keep Grammarly's writing underlines and button, while Go handles generative requests. Saved documents and account settings remain available under the company's documented transition process.
Hemingway Editor Plus
Hemingway Editor Plus rewrites selected passages to clarify prose, change tone, shorten text or add detail. Users can also give custom rewriting instructions. These tools require a Plus subscription; rephrasing and polishing consume one AI credit per selected sentence, and requesting another suggestion spends credits again. A free trial requires no card.
HyperWrite
OthersideAI makes HyperWrite, a writing assistant with tools for creating, editing and completing text. It offers custom writing personas to guide style, alongside a library of task specific writing tools. Its browser extension supplies TypeAhead suggestions while a user types.
Premium costs $19.99 a month, with 250 AI messages per month, three personas and unlimited TypeAheads. Annual billing lowers that to $192 a year. Ultra costs $44.99 monthly, or $348 annually, and includes unlimited AI messages and ten personas. Both plans list citations and current information features, while Ultra adds priority access to experimental writing and agent features.
Hypotenuse AI
Hypotenuse AI sells a product information platform that writes ecommerce titles and descriptions alongside catalog data enrichment and image tools. Retail teams can generate product descriptions in bulk, include search keywords and refine the output. Its brand voice feature uses models trained on brand writing to guide copy across channels.
The broader platform can fill missing product attributes from sources such as specification sheets, web information and images, then standardize tags and categories. Enterprise features include team workflows and access controls. The company offers a demo route for buyers, making this a candidate for teams considering product data operations and content production together.
Jasper
Jasper is built around marketing content workflows, with a Canvas workspace for creating copy and agents for recurring tasks. Its campaign tools turn briefs into content for different channels. Brand voice, product knowledge and audience settings give writers shared material to work from when they draft or adapt campaign assets.
Pro costs $69 per seat each month, or $59 a month with annual billing. It includes one seat, two brand voices, five knowledge assets and three audiences. A seven day free trial gives an individual marketer a way to try the writing workspace before committing. Those limits make the number of brands and audiences worth considering alongside the subscription price.
The Business plan has custom pricing and governance, including administrative controls, groups and dedicated account management. It also adds unlimited brand voices, knowledge and audiences, a builder for custom agents and API access. More complex workflows, including translation, deep research and content for AI search, sit in the Business feature set.
Lex
Lex is an AI document editor with chat about a draft, line level checks and style guides. Writers can give the assistant persistent background knowledge, then use saved prompts for recurring drafting or editing tasks. The workflow suits people who want feedback and revision inside the document they are writing.
The editor includes Rewind and named versions, so writers can restore earlier text or save a deliberate checkpoint before a substantial revision. Its documentation also covers sharing documents and folders, plus shared prompts and context tags. The prompt library spans formats from academic papers to video scripts, giving writers starting points they can adapt to their own work.
Markup AI
Markup AI, formerly Acrolinx, reviews drafts for brand rules, clarity and terminology, then suggests improvements. Its Google Docs and Microsoft Word integrations suit teams revising content inside existing editors. Introductory Starter pricing is $249 monthly with annual discount, covering unlimited users and 12 million words checked a year. Enterprise adds advanced standards and custom review criteria.
NovelAI
Anlatan operates NovelAI, which has a dedicated story generation interface alongside its image tools. The writing product is aimed at people building fiction, worlds and characters with AI assistance. Its site offers free access to start writing through account registration, and describes contextual storytelling in which the assistant writes with the user.
Novelcrafter
Novelcrafter is a manuscript workspace with a Codex for story context, including characters and other background material. Its Hobbyist plan supports AI through a connection configured with the writer's own key. Scene summarization, character extraction and generation from scene beats are among the documented AI features, making it relevant to authors who want their planning material close to the draft.
Scribe costs $4 a month and includes unlimited books and the Codex, without AI integration. Hobbyist costs $8 monthly and adds that integration. Artisan costs $14 a month and adds chat, while Specialist costs $20 and adds collaboration and team management. Model usage is a separate consideration from the workspace subscription under the bring your own key arrangement.
A 21 day free trial unlocks all features without requiring a credit card. After cancellation, writers retain viewing and export access, although adding or editing material requires an active subscription. Collaborators who need to edit also need a paid plan; a free account can be used for viewing.
ProWritingAid
ProWritingAid combines story planning and line editing with AI rephrasing, Sparks and manuscript feedback. Its toolkit covers work from an initial story idea through chapter critique, with reports on prose and tools for developing or refining passages. It is aimed at storytellers working through several stages of a book.
The free plan includes ten rephrases per day and three Sparks. Premium costs $120 billed yearly, adding unlimited rephrases, five daily Sparks, a daily chapter critique and custom style guidance. Premium Pro costs $144 billed yearly and raises those usage limits. Whole manuscript analysis uses separate Story Credits, with discounts tied to the subscription tier.
QuillBot
Learneo owns QuillBot, whose writing tools focus on paraphrasing and correcting existing prose. The free paraphraser has two modes and accepts up to 100 words, with basic grammar correction alongside it. That makes the free tier suited to trying small passages before choosing a paid plan.
Premium adds full access to paraphrasing, more modes and advanced grammar recommendations. Its displayed euro price is €8.33 per month annually. QuillBot also sells a team plan with administration, including centralized billing, user management and usage metrics. Usage limits still apply and can vary by the surface where the tools are used.
Rytr
Copysmith owns Rytr, which now combines writing with relationship management and follow ups. Its Create tools draft and rewrite emails, posts and other copy in a chosen voice. Free includes 10,000 characters per month; Lite costs $9 monthly and removes that character limit. Personal and Pro expand the connected sources and relationship features.
Sudowrite
Sudowrite is a fiction writing workspace for novelists who want help developing and revising scenes. Its plans include Write, Rewrite, Describe and Expand, along with style matching and tools for maintaining continuity across a series. It also offers chat for brainstorming, research and editing, with Muse and Ballad among its models designed for fiction.
Usage is metered through monthly credits. Hobby & Student includes 225,000 credits, while Max includes two million. Max also lets unused credits roll over for 12 months. Professional and Max include developmental edits, line edits and beta reads, so buyers comparing plans should consider the feedback tools as well as the amount of generation they expect to use.
There is a trial without a credit card. Writers working outside English should use it to try their intended workflow: Sudowrite says Write can match almost any language, while other features may fall back to English when uncertain. Its public site includes author Hugh Howey's endorsement, alongside comments from screenwriter Bernie Su and other writers.
Symbolic.ai
Symbolic.ai serves newsrooms and communications teams with shared research, drafting, editing and publishing preparation. Writers can reuse voices, formats and style rules, while editors review claims against sources. Its News Corp enterprise partnership covers planned deployment of the platform in journalism and content production.
The Team plan starts at $49 per seat monthly for the first two seats, then $89 per additional seat, for up to ten users. It includes three million monthly token credits, unlimited projects, research tabs and roles and permissions. Enterprise has custom pricing, onboarding, training and integration support for larger publishing operations with more complex requirements.
Type.ai
Type.ai is an editor for books and screenplays with drafting, revision and review tools in the same workspace as its assistant. Story notes store characters, settings and scenes, and custom writing rules guide style. It supports importing Word documents and PDFs, then exporting drafts as DOCX or PDF files.
Type says its writing and editing features handle documents up to 150,000 words and recommends splitting longer manuscripts across documents. The editor also has offline writing and version history. Writers retain free access to their drafts, while paid plans provide premium features and models from Anthropic, OpenAI and Google. Type says models do not train on users' documents or uploads.
Wordtune
AI21 Labs operates Wordtune, which rewrites and adjusts tone and can continue existing text. Basic includes ten daily rewrite suggestions and unlimited spelling and grammar checks. Buyers seeking team accounts should note that Business supports existing accounts; the help center says new business purchases are temporarily unavailable.
Writer
WRITER gives enterprise marketing teams content creation and revision guided by company voice, style and business context. The same workflow can turn an asset into versions for different audiences, regions or channels. Its marketing page describes automated compliance reviews that apply rules during generation, and names customers including H&R Block, Salesforce and Vanguard.
The company's marketing playbooks show workflows for turning a single gated asset into ads, email, social posts and search snippets. Another combines voice profiles with company knowledge connected to Google Docs. These are useful examples for a team buying a repeatable campaign process, especially when several people need to use the same source material and editorial rules.
Starter supports up to five users, five Playbooks and one team Personality profile, with a 14 day trial that requires no credit card. Enterprise is sold through the sales team and adds departmental voice profiles, approvals, administrative controls and unrestricted playbooks. Full Knowledge Graph capabilities and expanded connectors also sit in Enterprise, so buyers should map their intended data connections and review process to that plan.
Writesonic
Writesonic's AI Article Writer serves content teams and agencies producing articles for search. Writers can supply brand briefs, product documents, founder insights and customer research, or use deep web research when they need external material. The product combines research, outlining, section drafting and review in a single article pipeline.
Its drafting uses brand voice and citations, with tools aimed at both conventional search and visibility in AI answers. The product page offers a seven day free trial and a demo route. Buyers with a library of internal source material can use the knowledge based mode, which gives that material precedence while web research fills gaps.
