ID.me and Verisys Partner on Provider Identity Solution for State Medicaid Agencies
ID.me and Verisys announced in a press release a strategic partnership to deliver an integrated identity verification and credentialing solution for state Medicaid agencies. The collaboration aims to help agencies comply with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) provider revalidation requirements.
The joint solution combines ID.me’s digital identity wallet with Verisys’s healthcare provider data and credentialing intelligence. It is designed to give states a ready-to-use system for provider revalidation and credentialing that meets CMS compliance standards from the start.
According to the companies, the partnership will allow agencies to verify provider identities and credentials efficiently and at scale, supporting efforts to reduce fraud and streamline Medicaid provider management.
