Britive Adds Native Support for OpenID Shared Signals Framework
Britive has added native support for the OpenID Shared Signals Framework, including the Continuous Access Evaluation Profile and Risk Incident Sharing and Coordination protocols, announced in a press release. The company stated that this integration makes Britive the first complete privileged access management platform to support the framework natively.
The Shared Signals Framework allows Britive to exchange continuous security signals with other compatible tools and respond to emerging risks during active sessions. The system can automatically terminate sessions, require additional authentication, or disable accounts when threats are detected. This extends Britive’s Zero Standing Privileges and Just in Time access capabilities to continuous enforcement.
Britive’s implementation supports bidirectional communication. The platform can both receive and send Continuous Access Evaluation and Risk Incident Sharing events, enabling integration with tools such as CrowdStrike, Silverfort, and SailPoint. All inbound and outbound events are recorded in Britive’s audit log to meet compliance and investigation requirements.
The support is available immediately and builds on Britive’s approach to identity security across human, machine, and AI identities.
