SpartanX has closed its seed funding round led by Venture Guides, with participation from angel and corporate investors, announced in a press release. The company also established its global headquarters in Boston and appointed Erik Hardy as President and Chief Operating Officer.

Venture Guides, a Boston-based venture capital firm focused on early stage security, AI, and infrastructure companies, will provide active guidance to SpartanX across business strategy and product positioning. The firm maintains a concentrated portfolio and commits personal capital to its investments.

Hardy brings over 25 years of experience in enterprise software and SaaS leadership. He will oversee SpartanX's field operations, including sales, marketing, and customer success, as the company expands access to its autonomous red teaming platform.

SpartanX’s platform deploys more than 500 AI agents that operate across six attack surfaces including web applications, APIs, networks, cloud infrastructure, identity management, and AI systems. The system validates findings with real exploits and automates remediation and compliance mapping for frameworks such as SOC2 and HIPAA.
