AvalonX launches penetration testing platform with up to $10 million
AvalonX emerged from 18 months in stealth, launched its continuous penetration testing platform and secured up to $10 million from Ridown Capital, the company said in a press release. The Alpharetta, Georgia startup built the service for small and midsize businesses.
The Artemis platform uses autonomous agents to search for entry points and determine how far an attacker could move through a customer's systems. It runs on Aether, a 400 billion parameter security model trained on nine years of offensive security data and supported by 60 billion dark web records. Human penetration testers review findings that require additional analysis.
Customers enter a domain and define the systems that AvalonX can test. External assessments require no software installation, and results can arrive the same day. Findings include remediation steps and mappings to SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001, PCI DSS v4.0 and HIPAA requirements.
