Crux Labs raised more than $6 million for software that tests AI agents against standards defined by human experts.

Crux Labs raised more than $6 million and exited stealth, according to Tech Funding News. Benchstrength and Misneach led the funding round, with participation from Analog Ventures and Pareto Holdings.

The New York startup builds software that tests AI agents against standards defined by a customer's experts. Its system connects to company tools, learns from specialists such as clinicians and compliance officers, creates custom tests, and applies them to production traffic. It also generates alerts when an agent fails a test.

Crux says it works with several Fortune 500 companies and startups in healthcare, cybersecurity, and financial services, but it did not name customers or disclose revenue. The company will use the funding for research, product development, hiring, and enterprise deployments.
