Abacum Launches Abra AI Agent for Business Planning
Abacum launches Abra, an AI agent that coordinates specialized agents for business planning, as announced in a press release. Users can submit questions in plain language about revenue targets, margin changes, hiring plans and forecasts.
Abra assigns each request to agents for modeling, analysis, reporting or data management. The system works with company data, models, assumptions, plans and strategy documents stored in Abacum. It can turn spreadsheets or written instructions into models, examine performance changes, create reports and update planning values.
Agents operate within each user's existing permissions, while Abacum's deterministic calculation engine handles calculations. Proposed changes require human approval, and conversations and actions remain recorded in a dedicated workspace.
Abra is available as a standard feature for all Abacum customers at no additional cost. Abacum says more than 85 percent of its customers already use the platform's agent capabilities each month.
