Ebix and intentyx Launch AI Agent Governance Service
Ebix and intentyx announced in a press release a security and governance service for AI agents used by insurers, financial institutions, healthcare organizations and other regulated businesses. The service uses intentyx's Synthetic Mind Aware Risk Engine, known as SMARE.
SMARE gathers evidence from AI platforms, business applications, cloud environments, identity systems and security tools. It compares agent activity with security policies and each agent's approved purpose, actions, tools and data boundaries. The platform can detect policy violations, unusual behavior and changes in behavior while retaining evidence for security, compliance and operations teams.
The service is commercially available through both companies as SaaS or within a customer's cloud environment. Ebix also provides AI environment assessments, governance design, platform integration, deployment, monitoring and investigation services.
