WealthFeed adds Form 5500 data for 401(k) prospecting
WealthFeed announced in a press release that it has added Form 5500 data to its prospecting platform for financial advisors. Users can search more than 780,000 retirement plans and receive alerts when new filings show changes that could indicate a business opportunity.
The platform creates profiles with plan assets, participant counts, financial data and the person who signed the filing. It also assigns an opportunity score, explains the score and lets advisors filter plans by size, features, sponsor industry and filing date.
WealthFeed uses 12 filing triggers to flag changes such as participant growth of at least 20%, plan terminations, large asset transfers and the removal of an advisor from a filing. Advisors can identify connections to plan decision makers through their networks, then contact prospects through email, LinkedIn, handwritten notes or postcards from the platform.
