Sunrate Launches Agentic Card for AI Business Payments
Sunrate announced in a press release the launch of Sunrate Agentic Card at Hong Kong FinTech Week 2026. The programmable, multi currency virtual commercial card lets authorized AI agents create and manage payment instruments, initiate transactions, and retrieve payment results.
Businesses can set controls for transaction amounts, currencies, merchant categories, locations, and validity periods. They can issue cards for individual transactions or workflows, while each action is recorded for auditing. Cards can also expire automatically after an assigned task is completed.
The card has completed Mastercard Agent Pay certification for identity and authorization within the Mastercard network. Sunrate lists procurement, business travel, marketing spending, and supplier payments among its intended uses.
