Mastercard Launches Max AI Benefits Assistant With C6 Bank
Mastercard introduces Mastercard Max, an AI benefits assistant, the company announced in a press release. The service will launch initially with C6 Bank in Brazil and can be embedded in an issuer's mobile banking app or connected to its existing assistant.
Mastercard Max combines benefit information from Mastercard and the card issuer. Cardholders can ask questions in natural language, while the assistant recommends benefits based on their card, eligibility, location and current activity. It can provide information about services such as airport lounge access, Fast Track access, dining and entertainment offers.
Mastercard manages the models, content and orchestration for the service. SNB Group, Nedbank, I&M Bank and Attijariwafa Bank are also working to offer the assistant, while Citi is exploring its use for customers in Singapore and Hong Kong.
