ScribeUp raises $13 million for AI subscription management platform
ScribeUp announced in late October that it raised $13 million in Series A funding, the Los Angeles Business Journal reports. Curql led the round, with participation from Mucker Capital and Service Ventures.
ScribeUp provides software that banks and financial technology companies can add to their apps. The platform uses AI to identify recurring payments linked to subscriptions and lets customers manage or cancel them within their banking app.
The Venice, California company works with more than 60 financial institutions, including banks and credit unions.
"Recurring payments are the most frequent interaction a consumer has with their money and the one consumers understand the least," said Jordan Mackler, chief executive and co-founder of ScribeUp. He said the company lets financial institutions surface subscriptions and bills and resolve them directly in their banking apps.
