Gallium Defence Raises €7.1 Million for Drone Detection Radar
Paris based Gallium Defence has emerged from stealth with €7.1 million in seed funding, according to EU Startups. Keen Venture Partners and 360 Capital led the round, with participation from Omnes Capital and Polytechnique Ventures.
Founded in April 2026, Gallium Defence develops the GDS-10, an X band radar for detecting and tracking drones. The system can detect Class 1 and first person view drones at a range of 10 kilometers, provide 360 degree coverage, and track multiple drones at once. It is an AESA radar with a software defined, AI native architecture and comes in versions for critical infrastructure operators and armed forces.
The company will use the funding to expand production, hire staff, train AI models, and conduct demonstrations for civil and military operators. Gallium Defence completed its first open air field trials four months after closing the round and plans to open GDS-10 orders in the first quarter of 2027.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
