Abacum Launches Modeler AI Agent for Finance Teams

Abacum announced in a press release the launch of Modeler, an AI agent that builds financial models from natural language instructions or existing spreadsheets. The tool is available to all Abacum customers as part of the platform at no additional cost.

Modeler scans data connected to Abacum, selects a model structure and presents its proposed variables and logic for review. Finance teams can refine the proposal through natural language and must approve it before the model is saved. Abacum's calculation engine performs the calculations.

The agent can also explain model logic, add variables and edit sections of existing models. Abacum plans to add support for importing complete workbooks, including formulas and multiple tabs, later this year.
