Cornerstone Research and Stanford Law School report that AI related securities class actions represented $385 billion of $529 billion in investor losses measured during the first half of 2026. US securities class action filings rose 30% to 121, including 15 AI related cases. Read more

Envestnet plans to acquire Vestmark, adding portfolio management, trading, rebalancing, tax transition and AI powered workflow tools. Vestmark supports more than $2 trillion in assets and over five million accounts, and the deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter. Read more

FINTRX launches Fin, an AI agent that monitors private wealth data and provides alerts, prospect lists, reports and meeting preparation across workplace tools. Sokin launches a Model Context Protocol connector for authorized finance teams using ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity.
