Outline Raises $3M for AI Financial Planning Agents

Paris startup Outline raised $3 million to build AI agents that automate financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.

Outline, a Paris startup founded by former Alan and Spotify employees, raised $3 million in seed funding led by Founders Future, according to Tech Funding News. Investors also included 100in, Newschool, Cegid chief executive Bruno Vaffier, and Pennylane finance director Raphael Nahum.

Outline connects with accounting, billing, payroll, sales, and spreadsheet systems. Its AI agents build and validate financial models, support budgeting and performance tracking, simulate business decisions, and document calculations with traceable sources.

The three person company has 10 paying customers and expected to add 10 more in September. Its customers include Zelty, Harmattan AI, Shares, and HarfangLab. Outline plans to use the funding to expand its team and deployments across France, Europe, and the United States.
