OpenAI Introduces ChatGPT for Financial Services

OpenAI introduces ChatGPT for Financial Services, a version of ChatGPT Work for financial research, modeling, and client materials, the company announced on its website. The product combines GPT-6 Astra with financial data and tools for investment banking and equity research.

Built in data comes from providers including Daloopa, PitchBook, LSEG News, and Crunchbase. OpenAI indexes and hosts the data, while granular citations let users trace figures and claims to their sources. Firms can use their existing data subscriptions and centrally manage access and connections.

Morgan Stanley and Evercore served as design partners. Their work with OpenAI focused on research, financial models, and preparing client materials. The service also includes ChatGPT enterprise security and governance controls.

The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
