BT CEO Allison Kirkby has indicated that advancements in AI could result in further job reductions at the company, which is already planning significant workforce cuts by 2030.

Funding

Bolo AI, based in Palo Alto, has raised $8.1 million in seed funding to develop an AI platform aimed at enhancing efficiency and safety in the energy sector. Voxel, a computer vision AI company, is expanding its workplace safety platform to five continents following a $44 million funding round.
