Amdocs Unveils Telco-Grade AI Agent Framework with AWS and NVIDIA
Amdocs has unveiled a new standard for telco-grade AI agents, developed in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and NVIDIA, announced in a press release. This framework, detailed in a whitepaper titled "AI Verticalization for Telcos," aims to define the characteristics of advanced, verticalized AI agents tailored for the telecommunications industry.
The whitepaper outlines the importance of ontology, reasoning, simulation, and brand engineering in creating AI agents that are not only skilled and trustworthy but also capable of autonomous operations. These agents are designed to integrate deeply with telco-specific systems, providing network-aware and context-sensitive responses.
A key component of the framework is the use of digital twins and simulations to train AI agents in a risk-free environment. This allows for the development of agents that can autonomously manage network operations, optimize resources, and enhance customer experiences.
The collaboration with AWS and NVIDIA leverages their AI and cloud technologies to support the deployment of these telco-grade agents. Amdocs' amAIz Suite integrates AWS's generative AI stack and NVIDIA's AI tools to deliver scalable and secure AI solutions for communication service providers.
