DC Capital Partners Takes Majority Stake in Knexus to Expand Government AI Services

DC Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in Knexus, an applied AI company serving U.S. government agencies. The partnership aims to accelerate Knexus's growth and expand its AI solutions for defense and civilian missions.

DC Capital Partners has made a majority investment in Knexus, a provider of applied AI solutions for U.S. government agencies, announced in a press release. The investment will support Knexus's expansion in delivering secure, production-ready AI systems for defense and civilian programs.

Founded in 2006 and based in Vienna, Virginia, Knexus designs and operates enterprise AI systems for mission-critical government applications. The company is a Premier Partner of Google Public Sector and an implementation partner for Gemini for Government. It was also named the 2025 Google Cloud Partner of the Year for Business Applications in Government.

DC Capital Partners said the partnership will help scale Knexus through investments in business development, technology, and operations. The firm has a history of investing in government technology companies, including Hill Technical Solutions and Owl Cyber Defense Solutions.
