The company said in a press release that the program covers the public sector, businesses and communities through three pillars called AI Negara, AI Ekonomi and AI Rakyat.

GovTech Malaysia is launching GovHub, powered by the Kiro coding tool, through a platform operated by the national digital department. A pilot will begin with 500 developers in 2026 and plans to reach 4,000 by 2028. AWS will also provide Amazon Quick to as many as 445,000 government officers for tasks including procurement analysis, policy research and data analysis.

AWS is working with GD XCHANGE and VSTECS to offer eligible small and medium sized businesses six months of access to Quick and Kiro after an AI readiness assessment. The collaboration plans to enroll 10,000 businesses by 2028. AWS and the Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation are also supporting local software companies through the Sarawak SaaS Accelerator.

The education portion includes more than 3,000 students and lecturers who participated in the POLYCC Agentic AI League 2026 using Kiro. AWS will also upgrade digital and science facilities at Sekolah Kebangsaan Datuk Keramat (1) in Kuala Lumpur and provide teacher training in coding and robotics.
