WongPartnership selects August to build custom legal AI agents
WongPartnership has selected August as its strategic AI partner to provide tools and training across the Singapore law firm, as detailed in a company blog post.
The firm will use August to build AI agents based on its knowledge, precedents and practice methods. August staff will work with WongPartnership lawyers to design and deploy the agents, with lawyers reviewing their output.
WongPartnership will give its legal and business teams access to the same platform. The rollout will begin with staff training, followed by customization of agents and workflows that can be shared across practice groups.
August says WongPartnership is the first major Singapore firm to partner with it. The firm became the first law firm in South East Asia to deploy Harvey in 2024 and began a proof of concept for CoCounsel in 2025. Singapore's Ministry of Law published a guide for using generative AI in the legal sector in March 2026.
