Harvey Plans Tokyo Office for Early 2027
Harvey plans to open a Tokyo office between January and March 2027, according to Nikkei. The legal AI company will hire local staff, including a Japan country manager, and is working to establish a Japanese subsidiary.
Harvey will target major law firms and corporate legal departments. It is working with Tokyo based legal research company Legalscape to add Japanese legal sources and adapt its software to local practices.
Existing customers in Japan include law firms Mori Hamada & Matsumoto and Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu, as well as legal departments at Mitsubishi Corp. and Dentsu Group. Many of Harvey's sales and customer support staff are lawyers, Nikkei reports.

Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
