Litera now lets legal teams search, retrieve and summarize Box documents within Lito while retaining existing Box permissions and controls.
Litera Connects Lito to Box Documents

Litera announced on its website an integration that connects its Lito legal AI service to documents stored in Box. The integration is available now and uses the Model Context Protocol.

Users connect their Box account to Lito through OAuth 2.0 and can search files and folders using natural language. Lito can retrieve a selected document into a conversation and summarize it without requiring the user to download and upload the file.

Lito follows each user's existing Box permissions. Box administrators control which tools are available, while individual users can authorize or disconnect their own accounts at any time. Box remains the system of record for the documents.
