Palo Alto Networks and Deutsche Telekom Announce Sovereign Cortex Security Platform for Europe
Palo Alto Networks and Deutsche Telekom announced in a press release the launch of Sovereign Cortex with T Security, a cybersecurity solution built for Europe’s regulated sectors. The platform integrates the Palo Alto Networks Cortex AI-based security operations system with data sovereignty controls governed by Deutsche Telekom.
The solution is designed for industries such as healthcare, financial services, public administration, and critical infrastructure. It provides full functionality of the Cortex platform while ensuring compliance with European regulations including GDPR, NIS2, and DORA. Deutsche Telekom acts as an independent trust partner overseeing encryption, access controls, and audit mechanisms.
Sovereign Cortex with T Security includes additional sovereignty features covering telemetry data, encryption key management, and independently audited access logs. All support operations are staffed within Europe, and all service agreements are subject to European law. The initial release is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026, with broader availability expected later.
