Novo Nordisk Partners With Anthropic on Drug Research
Novo Nordisk is partnering with Anthropic to use Claude models in drug discovery and development, according to Reuters. The drugmaker will initially test the models and Claude Science in research and development workflows.
Claude Science is Anthropic's workbench for computational research, which connects its models with scientific tools and databases. Novo Nordisk and Anthropic will identify scientific problems where the technology can support research into human biology and drug mechanisms.
Novo Nordisk will also use Anthropic's models for software development. The company already uses Claude to automate trial report generation, reducing the time needed to create patient documentation from months to minutes.
