MOVIN raised $7.6 million in a Series A round led by IMM Investment, according to WOWTALE. The startup will use the funding to expand its motion capture business, develop its physical AI technology and pursue overseas growth.

Founded in 2023, MOVIN converts human movement into 3D data. Its MOVIN TRACIN product combines LiDAR sensors with AI to capture movement in real time without suits or markers. The company recorded $760,000 in global revenue within a year of starting product sales, with overseas customers generating 70% of revenue.

MOVIN also supplies its technology for robot operation and training, with users including Boston Dynamics and the RAI Institute. The company plans to build a research and development center of about 330 square meters (100 pyeong) to strengthen its physical AI technology. MOVIN raised a $3 million pre-Series A round last year.
