NVIDIA Humanoid Systems Use Robotic Hands With China Ties

Nov 3, 2026
NVIDIA's two humanoid reference systems use mechanical hands from China-linked startups Wuji and Sharpa, CNBC reports.

NVIDIA showcased two humanoid robot training systems using mechanical hands from China-linked startups, according to CNBC. The systems use hands from Wuji, which moved much of its team to Shenzhen, and Singapore-based Sharpa, whose manufacturing R&D is in Shanghai.

The newer Agile One SN system combines the Wuji Hand 2 with a robot body from Agile Robots, NVIDIA Isaac robotics software and the Jetson Thor computing platform. Research institutions including Stanford and ETH Zurich could begin using it in early 2027.

NVIDIA introduced its first reference humanoid design in May with a Unitree body and Sharpa hands. Deliveries were scheduled from late 2026, and NVIDIA did not immediately respond to CNBC on whether they had begun.
