Ingenix Raises €13 Million to Expand Biological Reasoning Engine for Drug Development
Ingenix has raised €13 million in seed extension funding led by Sofinnova Partners, with participation from Inovo VC and OTB VC, announced in a press release. The funds will support scaling of the company's Biological Reasoning Engine and the launch of its Qualified Access Program for pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners.
The Biological Reasoning Engine is built on Ingenix's Modality Fusion architecture, which integrates models across biological data types and scales to reason directly over their representations. The company said this approach differs from conventional large model training strategies that rely on expanding datasets.
In a recent oncology project, the Engine solved a dual payload antibody drug conjugate prioritization problem in minutes, identifying 15 candidate combinations from thousands of possibilities. Expert review showed that several predictions aligned with known hypotheses or unpublished internal results, while others introduced new, actionable insights.
The new funding will allow Ingenix to extend access to the Engine through its Qualified Access Program, which opened applications on June 3, 2026.
