Humain Launches AI-Powered Sports Platform After Acquiring ai.io Stake

Saudi AI company Humain has launched Humain Sport following its acquisition of a majority stake in London-based AI and sports technology firm ai.io, aiming to expand AI-driven sports solutions globally.

Humain, a Saudi Arabian AI company owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has launched a new platform called HUMAIN Sport after acquiring a majority stake in ai.io, announced in a press release.

The acquisition was revealed at the PIF Private Sector Forum in Riyadh. HUMAIN Sport will combine Humain’s AI capabilities with ai.io’s sports technology to develop integrated solutions for performance analysis, training, and participation in sports.

According to the announcement, the deal will accelerate the deployment of AI-based sports technologies in Saudi Arabia and international markets. The collaboration aims to expand access to sports data and enhance development programs and athletic performance through AI-driven tools.
