Salesforce Agrees to Acquire Voice AI Company Cresta

Nov 3, 2026
Salesforce signed an agreement to acquire Cresta and add its voice agents and conversation analysis tools to Service Cloud.

Salesforce has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Cresta, the company announced in a press release. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of Salesforce's 2028 fiscal year, subject to regulatory approval and other customary conditions.

Cresta provides voice agents that handle customer calls, assist human representatives in real time and analyze interactions. Its voice agents are used by brands including Marriott, Comcast and Alaska Airlines. Salesforce plans to connect these capabilities with Service Cloud and customer records.

After the transaction closes, Cresta will continue supporting the contact center and telephony platforms used by its customers. "Voice is where service is hardest to get right, and where it matters most to customers," said Kishan Chetan, who runs Agentforce and Service Cloud at Salesforce. The deal follows Salesforce's agreement to buy Braze for $5.66 billion in October. Salesforce did not disclose the price.
