Salesforce Says AI Agents Generated $88 Million From Unanswered Leads
Salesforce says its AI agents generated more than $88 million in revenue by contacting potential customers who would otherwise have gone unanswered, according to CTech.
Itai Margalit, an area vice president of sales at Salesforce, said the company had 100 million leads before integrating the agents, with about 75% receiving no response. The agents now initiate contact and transfer conversations to staff when human involvement is needed. Margalit said handling the same volume through conventional staffing would have required about 400 additional employees.
Salesforce did not disclose the period covered by the $88 million figure, its calculation method, or how much revenue could be attributed directly to the agents.
