Salesforce to Acquire Braze for $5.66 Billion

Oct 20, 2026
Salesforce agreed to acquire customer engagement platform Braze for about $5.66 billion in enterprise value, or $47.50 in cash per share.

In a press release, Salesforce said it signed a definitive agreement to acquire Braze for about $5.66 billion in enterprise value. Braze shareholders will receive $47.50 in cash for each share.

Braze provides tools for personalized customer engagement across mobile apps, websites, email, SMS and WhatsApp. Its platform processes customer behavior as it occurs, while its AI tools optimize content, offers, communication channels and timing.

Salesforce plans to combine Braze with Marketing Cloud, Data 360, Customer 360 and Agentforce. Braze serves about 2,770 customers and processes trillions of messages and customer journey actions each year.

The transaction is expected to close during Salesforce's fiscal year 2028. It remains subject to approval from Braze shareholders, regulatory clearance and other customary conditions. Salesforce said the agreement does not change its fiscal 2027 guidance.

The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
