Five9 will acquire Level AI for $325 million in cash, according to SiliconANGLE. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary conditions.

Level AI provides software that analyzes customer service conversations, gives agents guidance in real time and automates workflows. It also offers autonomous AI agents for simpler customer requests and operational tasks. Its applications process more than one billion customer interactions annually.

Five9 plans to integrate the technology into its Genius CX Platform while continuing to offer Level AI applications as standalone products. This includes support for customers using on-premises systems or other cloud contact center platforms.

Five9 shares fell more than 23% in late trading after the acquisition was disclosed. The company ended the third quarter with $738 million in cash and marketable investments.
