Siggy Raises $6 Million for AI Mental Health Service
Siggy raised $6 million in pre-seed funding for an AI mental health service, according to Crunchbase News. Journey Clinical co-founder Jonathan Sabbagh and Nurx co-founder Edvard Engesæth began building the startup in late 2025.
Patients provide their history through an AI conversation before meeting a licensed clinician by video. The service also uses daily and weekly check-ins to gather information about symptoms, treatment progress and medication side effects for clinicians to review.
Patients can connect Whoop, Oura or Apple Watch devices to add sleep, activity and heart data to a Siggy Score. Changes in the score are flagged for clinician review, while clinicians remain responsible for diagnoses, prescriptions and treatment adjustments.
Siggy will use the funding to hire clinicians and engineers, develop its software and address regulatory requirements. The company accepts commercial insurance in all 50 states and does not prescribe controlled substances or provide crisis services.
