Vocca Raises $20 Million for AI Medical Phone Assistant

Vocca raised a $20 million Series A led by Norrsken VC to expand its AI phone assistant for medical practices in the United States and Europe.

Vocca raised a $20 million Series A led by Norrsken VC, the company said in a press release. Heal Capital, Speedinvest and Firstminute Capital also participated, bringing Vocca's total funding to $25 million.

Vocca provides an AI phone assistant that handles patient calls and scheduling. The company says it serves 15,000 medical practitioners across 1,500 practices in the United States and Europe, up from 2,000 practitioners a year ago.

The assistant processes more than one million conversations per month and resolves 70 percent without human involvement on average. Vocca plans to use the funding to add communication channels, support more medical specialties and expand its presence in the United States.
