Goodman and Digital Realty Offer AU$715 Million for NEXTDC Stake
Goodman Group and Digital Realty have offered AU$715 million (US$499.7 million) for a 9.9% stake in Australian data center operator NEXTDC, according to Data Center Dynamics. The companies offered AU$9.50 per share, a 45.5% premium to NEXTDC's valuation when trading ended Wednesday.
A term sheet submitted to the Australian Securities Exchange says the companies do not plan to seek control or make a full takeover bid, although that position could change. JPMorgan is leading the offer.
NEXTDC's shares recently fell as much as 45% after delays to electricity network work at its M3 data center in Melbourne. The delay prompted the company to defer AU$140 million in customer revenue and pause new projects and land purchases.

Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
