Fambot has launched an AI assistant for family logistics with more than 1,000 families on the platform and $3.5 million in funding before a seed round, the company announced in a press release. The round was co led by NextView Ventures and Baukunst, with participation from Correlation Ventures, Karman Ventures, and Founders Network.

Fambot reads school emails, newsletters, calendar invites, and WhatsApp groups, then sends parents a daily summary by text message. The service connects to email services including Gmail, Outlook, and Hotmail, as well as calendars and WhatsApp.

The company says the product can extract tasks and details from family communications, such as permission slips, chaperone sign ups, lunch requirements, and bus departure times. A shared family account lets both parents receive the same digest and assign tasks and events to each other.

Fambot was founded by David Reich, Greg Karlin, and Jason Morrow, who previously worked at Uber, Instagram, and Google. The app is available on iOS and Android and is currently free while in beta.

The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
