Famly Relaunches Childcare Platform With Frankie AI Helper

Oct 8, 2026
Famly has added Frankie, an AI helper that uses childcare center data to answer questions, automate administrative tasks and flag issues.

Famly unveiled Frankie in a press release, relaunching its childcare management platform as a proactive assistant for early education centers. Frankie uses each center's enrollment, billing, staffing and child data to answer questions, automate administrative tasks and flag issues.

Staff can ask Frankie to retrieve information, draft messages, schedule recurring tasks, answer questions about center policies and prepare morning briefings. The helper can also identify overdue balances, failed payments and missing payment details before billing runs. It asks for user confirmation before taking an action.

Famly also supports billing, enrollment, staffing, parent communication and child activity records. The platform includes role based permissions, encryption at rest with AES-256 and encryption in transit with TLS 1.2 or later.
