Echo Software Inc. has raised $15 million in Seed funding to develop AI-powered infrastructure that eliminates vulnerabilities in container base images, announced in a press release. The funding round was led by Notable Capital and Hyperwise Ventures, with additional support from SVCI.

Echo's innovative approach involves using AI agents to analyze and rebuild standard open source images, creating clean versions that maintain the original functionality while significantly reducing the attack surface. This method has reduced remediation timelines from an industry average of 120 days to just 24 hours.

The company also offers FIPS-validated images to fast-track FedRAMP compliance for cloud-based companies seeking U.S. Federal Government contracts. Echo's solutions are designed to integrate seamlessly without requiring customers to switch to non-standard operating software, making implementation straightforward.
