Cantina has launched from stealth with $8 million in new funding led by Framework Ventures, bringing its total raised to $16.5 million.

The New York company has built an agentic security platform that helps organizations find, prioritize, remediate, and verify security issues. Cantina says its customers include organizations in healthcare, financial technology, and other regulated industries.

The platform maps assets, identities, systems, and their relationships across a customer environment, including Okta users, servers, GitHub repositories, AWS IAM roles, and databases holding customer data. It then adds business context such as system owners, recent changes, and past investigations to rank risks and guide remediation work.

Cantina also said it has trusted access with OpenAI and participates in Anthropic's Cyber Verification Program. The company was founded by security researchers and engineers who have worked on vulnerability research and defense across software systems.
